Attention, shoppers: Now is the time to make plans to round up your ingredients and supplies at your nearest H-E-B store. Place those Curbside orders as soon as you can or else your holiday celebration may not go as planned.
The San Antonio-based grocery store chain will close all H-E-B stores, which includes Curbside, home delivery, and pharmacy services, on Sunday, April 9, in honor of Easter. Stores will be open regular hours on Saturday, April 8, and Monday, April 10, but Curbside and home delivery services will resume at 9 a.m. on Monday.
Curbside and home delivery services are commonly offered from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. A quick browse through the H-E-B app shows availability for Saturday at multiple stores, so grab a time slot when you can if you’re not up for dealing with the crowds shopping at the last minute.
Seemingly in honor of the holiday, H-E-B’s Weekly Ad includes coupons and deals for foods common at Easter meals, including beef fajitas, chicken leg quarters, whole hams, party platters, fresh cut fruit, 12-packs of soda, a variety of cooking and baking ingredients, condiments, and disposable cups, plates, and utensils. Most of the biggest savings appear to be for H-E-B brand items.
Aside from Easter, H-E-B only completely closes all stores on Christmas. The grocery chain has shortened store hours on holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
