SAN ANTONIO — Get ready to get out, get active, and explore San Antonio on car-free streets! The 23rd Annual Síclovía returns to the Alamo City on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The annual event is organized by the YMCA of Greater San Antonio.
“For the first time since 2019, Síclovía returns to Broadway Street, offering a 2.2-mile route from Broadway and McCullough to Mahncke Park,” said the YMCA.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a pedestrian, cyclist, runner, skateboarder, rollerblader, or just anyone else looking to participate in non-competitive outdoor activities. Folks of all ages are welcome to this one-of-a-kind event that promotes health and wellness in San Antonio. And you can even bring your dogs!
Local businesses are encouraged to participate by setting up interactive stations, promoting special offers, and leveraging social media to enhance the event experience. If you’re not on the route but still want to participate, you can apply to be a vendor online.
Here is a list of the streets that will be closed from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. on March 23:
- McCullough/Broadway
- Jones/Broadway
- Newell & Casa Blanca/Broadway
- Josephine/Broadway
- Millrace/Broadway
- Mulberry/Broadway
- 6th/Broadway will remain closed for the entire event
Cross-traffic access will be maintained at designated intersections, subject to change.
