Six Flags Fiesta Texas celebrates San Antonio’s vibrant culture with Viva La Fiesta, offering Latin-inspired entertainment and food from April 3-26.
SAN ANTONIO — Six Flags Fiesta Texas is turning up the volume on Fiesta season with the return of Viva La Fiesta, a park-wide celebration blending Latin-inspired entertainment, specialty eats and high-speed thrills.
According to park officials, the event runs on select dates from April 3 through April 26, transforming the theme park into a colorful tribute to San Antonio’s most festive time of year.
“Viva La Fiesta reflects the heart and culture of San Antonio,” said park manager Robert Bustle. “From live music and dance to unforgettable food and themed experiences, this event brings Fiesta traditions to life in a way only Six Flags Fiesta Texas can offer.”
Live music and dance
Park officials say multiple stages across the park will feature live performances throughout the event. Guests can catch “Baila Esta Cumbia,” a Selena tribute show at Teatro Fiesta, along with traditional mariachi sounds from Mariachi Los Soberanos.
Other entertainment includes Sonido9 performing salsa, bachata and cumbia rhythms in Texas State Square, a family-friendly pop revue called “Bubble Pop!” at Pete’s Eats Stage, and the “Rockville Beach Party” indoor musical experience opening April 11 at Rockville High Theater.
Showtimes will be available in the park’s mobile app, according to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.
Fiesta flavors with a theme park twist
The celebration also extends to the menu.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas says guests can expect a variety of Latin-inspired dishes, including street tacos with carnitas, asada or al pastor, mini trompo skewers and brochetas. Other offerings include potato tacos, Mexican fruit cups, pan dulce and sweet treats such as boysenberry paletas and buñuelos.
Specialty cocktails, mocktails and Latin beer selections will also be available at select locations throughout the park, according to Six Flags.
Supporting a good cause
On April 19, the park will dedicate part of the celebration to A Kid Again, a nonprofit organization that provides year-round outings and support for children with life-threatening conditions and their families. Park officials say the day will feature added moments of fun designed to help guests of all abilities feel included.
Limited-edition medal
In true Fiesta fashion, the theme park has also released a limited-edition 2026 Fiesta Medal. According to the park, the design is inspired by the legend of the Chupacabra and ties into a recent retheming within the park.
The medal, available while supplies last at major merchandise locations, also teases what Six Flags Fiesta Texas describes as a new attraction planned for 2027, though additional details have not yet been announced.
Park officials say what sets Viva La Fiesta apart is that it unfolds inside a full-scale theme park. After enjoying live music and festive food, guests can head straight to signature rides or opt for family-friendly attractions.
Six Flags says the goal is to blend San Antonio tradition with the kind of all-day excitement only a theme park can provide, making Viva La Fiesta a celebration that’s equal parts culture and coaster thrills.
