HEY PARENTS! Six Flags Fiesta Texas says a stricter chaperone policy will be in place this weekend, requiring guests 17 and under to be with an adult.🎢
SAN ANTONIO — Heading to Six Flags Fiesta Texas? There’s a new rule families need to know about — and it will be strictly enforced this weekend.
The park is enforcing an enhanced chaperone policy March 28–29, with the rules expected to continue daily moving forward.
Under the policy, all guests 17 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or chaperone age 21 or older.
And it’s not just at the gate.
Park officials say those guests must stay with their chaperone for their entire visit, or risk being removed from the park.
One adult can supervise up to five minors and must show a valid government-issued ID at entry. Guests may also be asked to show ID to verify their age.
Six Flags says the move comes as part of an effort to maintain a safe, family-friendly environment amid rising reports of disruptive behavior.
The policy applies to all guests, including season pass holders, and will be enforced from park open to close.
