Six Flags Fiesta Texas offering free admission for first responders this weekend

First responders and one guest get in free at Six Flags Fiesta Texas this weekend, with discounted tickets for up to six others. Here’s what to know.

SAN ANTONIO — First responders can take a well-earned break from serving the San Antonio community with a free trip to Six Flags Fiesta Texas this weekend.

The northwest-side theme park announced it’s offering free admission for first responders and one guest on Friday and Saturday, with additional tickets available at a discounted price.

The deal is open to firefighters, law enforcement officers and EMTs, who must show a valid work ID at Guest Relations to redeem the free tickets.

In addition to the free entry, first responders can purchase up to six extra tickets for $19.99 each by selecting the “Military/First Responder” ticket option for the same dates at sixflags.com/fiestatexas/military-discounts. Individual daily passes typically run $55.

Verification through ID.me is required before completing the purchase.

The park says the offer is a small way to thank those “who protect and serve the community every day.”

Six Flags Fiesta Texas, which opened in 1992 on the site of a former limestone quarry, is home to roller coasters such as Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger, the Iron Rattler and Superman Krypton Coaster. The park is also gearing up for its upcoming Holiday in the Park season later this month.
