Six Flags Fiesta Texas to dazzle with ‘largest-ever’ Holiday in the Park celebration

Holiday in the Park returns to Six Flags Fiesta Texas and organizers say it’s bigger, brighter and more dazzling than ever.

SAN ANTONIO — Get ready to jingle all the way through Six Flags Fiesta Texas this season because the park is going all out for the holidays.

Holiday in the Park returns Nov. 22 through Dec. 23, and park officials said it’ll be the most spectacular version yet.

The park will transform into a winter wonderland with 2.5 million lights, 75,000 decorations, and hundreds of Christmas trees, including a brand-new 70-foot artificial fir tree that now holds the title of “tallest traditional-style holiday tree in San Antonio.” There will also be a sleigh-full of shows, sweets, and s’mores.

“Holiday in the Park is a tradition families look forward to every year,” said Robert Bustle, park manager of Six Flags Fiesta Texas. “This season, we’ve gone bigger than ever with millions of lights, the tallest traditional-style holiday tree in San Antonio and unforgettable entertainment. It’s the kind of holiday magic only Fiesta Texas can deliver.”

Holiday magic at every corner

Visitors can expect 14 live shows and more than 150 costumes – highlights include The Majesty of Christmas, a live Nativity performance complete with animals, and a musical twist on A Christmas Carol at the Rockville High School Theater.

Other crowd favorites like Feliz Navidad with Mariachi Los Soberanos, Tinker Belles & March of the Toy Soldiers, and Have Yourself a Looney Tunes Christmas will be featured.

Organizers said each evening kicks off with the Tree Lighting Ceremony at Rockville Plaza, followed by synchronized light shows set to classic and modern holiday hits.

Fun for the whole family

Families can also stop by Santa’s Cottage for photos and Christmas wishes, or catch Looney Tunes and DC Super Heroes decked out in holiday style. Kids can hop on the METROPOLIS Transit Authority ride, roast marshmallows at one of the fire pits, and sing along with The Singing Saps and Dickens Carolers.

And there’s the H2Ho Ho Ho Fountain Show in Crackaxle Canyon Screampunk District, which is a choreographed display of lights and water set to festive tunes.

Seasonal eats and sweet treats

Guests can also enjoy a variety of festive food and drink options throughout the park, ranging from savory holiday favorites to indulgent sweet treats.

There will be turkey legs, brisket bites, chili bread bowls and a honey-glazed holiday meal featuring pork loin and roasted turkey.

Sweet fans will have multiple options like the fresas con crema funnel cake, s’mores funnel cake, Abuelita’s chocolate churro, and even a Very Merry mangonada.

Holiday beverages include their candy cane cold brew with peppermint foam, or a classic hot chocolate in a collectible mug.

The celebration continues

Holiday in the Park runs Nov. 22 through Dec. 23, but the festivities don’t end there. Six Flags Fiesta Texas will keep the holiday spirit going with Rockin’ New Year’s, Dec. 26 through Jan. 4, and the New Year’s 360 Fireworks Celebration on Dec. 31, bringing a high-energy display of lights, music and pyrotechnics to ring in 2026.

Holiday in the Park is also in the national spotlight, earning a nomination for Best Theme Park Holiday Event in “USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.” Fans can vote once per day through Dec. 1 by clicking here.

Cyber Sale savings

Six Flags is offering its 2026 Silver Pass for $55 during the park’s Cyber Sale, available through Dec. 1. The pass includes unlimited visits in 2025, free parking and continued entry through Labor Day 2026.
