Small plane lands on north-side street after apparent emergency

It’s unknown how many were aboard at the time.

SAN ANTONIO — No injuries were reported after a small plane appeared to have landed on a north-side road Tuesday afternoon, prompting a response from Bexar County authorities.

It’s unclear what happened in the minutes leading up to the aircraft coming to a stop in the 500 block of Heimer Road, near East Bitters and U.S. 281. Video provided by a KENS 5 viewer didn’t appear to show major damage to the plane.
