According to police, the two suspects stole 11 banners in total.
DALLAS — The SMU Police Department is searching for two people accused of stealing 11 Spirit Team banners that were displayed near Moody Coliseum and along Mustang Plaza and Mall.
According to police, each of the rectangular banners features a pom or cheer team member on a white background with blue and gray text, also featuring the SMU x ACC logo.
Police said the banners were stolen on Sunday, Nov. 17 at about 3:10 a.m.
According to SMU PD, the two were last seen walking eastbound on the 5500 block of SMU Boulevard toward Greenville Avenue.
Police are asking anyone with information on these thefts to contact the department.
