Jeremy Sochan is focusing on improving his overall game and conditioning this summer ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs‘ Jeremy Sochan spoke with USA Today about several topics, including his 2025-26 season outlook.
“This is a big summer for me. I’m excited for EuroBasket. I want to improve my whole game. I’m working on my shot. I’m working on improving my finishing even more and my ball handling, different reads, attacking different types of big men depending how we’ll get guarded because of how unique Victor (Wembanyama) is as a player,” he said. “I’m super motivated. I have something to prove. I’m working on my body and conditioning.”
Sochan averaged 11.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in 54 games last season and showed improvements with a career-high 53.5% shooting from the field. However, his three-point shooting was not the greatest at 30.8%.
His versatility is key for the Spurs next season, but with much attention set to fall on Wembanyama, De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle, next season will be his opportunity to elevate his contributions with the attention the Spurs’ core three will receive.
