CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Ingleside Independent School District congratulates one of its students after achieving the highest score on an exam that measures a high school student’s readiness for college.
In a press release on Monday, Ingleside ISD said Adrian Lawrence, a student at Ingleside High School, has achieved the highest possible composite score of 36 on the ACT exam — a remarkable academic accomplishment earned by only about one-quarter of 1% of test takers nationwide.
“Adrian’s accomplishment is a point of pride not only for him and his family, but for our entire Ingleside ISD community,” said Dr. Antonio Padilla, Principal of Ingleside High School. “This score opens doors to incredible opportunities, and we know he will continue to excel in his future endeavors. We have no doubt that Adrian is Ingleside Prepared, World Ready.”
The district said ACT scores are accepted by major four-year colleges and universities across the U.S. and are essential to the admissions process.
According to Princeton Review, the three core sections in the exam consist of English, reading, math, and optional science and writing. As part of the college admissions process, admissions officers will review your documentation portfolio, including your test scores.
