Here’s a sample of what the Spurs and Thunder said after the game.

Mitch Johnson:

“I think when you play a team as much as we have, we played this team now five times in under two months, you’re used to seeing patterns, whether that’s personnel plays, style of play, and when you have such a stark contrast to what you are used to, that’s different. I guess that could be a challenge. But again, I think our challenge is continuously playing each golf course the same, no matter where we’re playing.”

“I feel we probably more in the second half started to get a little bit more stagnant, but I probably late in the fourth, we picked it up. But I feel like our defense held strong as much as we needed to.”

Keldon Johnson:

“We had times where we were really good. We had times where we look really bad. We just got cleaned up and continue to get better, not playing down to the level of competition sometimes.”
