De’Aaron Fox added 14 points, and Julian Champagnie finished with 13 points and four rebounds. Dylan Harper had 15, and Stephon Castle recorded 18 points and eight assists.

Here’s a sample of what the Spurs and Wolves said after the game.
Mitch Johnson:
“I thought our activity was up to the level it matched our discipline. We did a really, really good job defensively. They test you quite a bit, just in terms of the way they play side to side, and then multiple actions happen at once, and I thought we did a good job, specifically coming out of halftime in that third quarter of being disciplined and connected while also having some activity.”
“I think for us, just having game plan execution coming to this game, the last time we played it, I don’t think we necessarily approach the level of detail that we want in terms of execution from that standpoint. So, I thought everyone checked in the night, guys coming in, giving energy, putting their mindset in the right place.”
“I think you have to take the good the same way you take the bad, and take the bad the same way you take the good. Basketball is a game of learning and growing. There’s no basketball player who’s gonna be perfect. There are a lot of guys who are really good at basketball and get paid a lot of money who didn’t even see the floor their first two or three years.”
Wembanyama:
“Am I getting more and more respect? I guess so. Yeah, because we’re getting more and more respect as a team, we’re viewed as a dangerous team. So, it’s just natural. But I didn’t really think about that.”
