Spurs 123, Pacers 113: What they said after the game

The San Antonio Spurs secured a 123-113 victory over the Indiana Pacers, despite the absence of key players.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs picked up a road win over the Indiana Pacers, 123-113. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 24 points.

Dylan Harper scored 22, while Keldon Johnson recorded 16 points and six rebounds off the bench. Harrison Barnes added five points. Stephon Castle had 19 points and eight assists. Luke Kornet added nine, and Kelly Olynyk finished with 10. Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell did not play due to injury.

The Spurs are 25-9 and will next host the Trail Blazers on Saturday night.

“As these guys have done throughout the season, they’ve responded, adjusted, and improved as the game goes on. And I think we saw that. I thought the bench did a great job of just playing with a ton of energy, and it’s amazing when things start to go your way, and when you put energy into the right places, the opportunities that arise.”
