Mitch Johnson:

“I thought we did a really good job. A little shaky, and again, 40 minutes, you strive for perfection, but you know, there’s going to be a game of runs, and I was really proud of how we set it ourselves in the fourth quarter a few times. Now, we’re growing pains and ironing out things and then learning moments, and it’s a good sign when you can improve quickly in those moments.”

“Two of my three games, we’ve been up 20 (points), and both of those games turned into one-possession games, and obviously won one and lost one. And I said, at some point, we have to figure out how we want to play with the lead. You know, whenever you get up 20, when you’re at 15, how can you get us a 21 rather than back down? A lot of what we do is going to be on the defensive side.”

Wembanyama:

“I think we showed some solid attitude and precedent and steady involvement on both sides of the court. So it’s the key. So it’s first step. It’s the key.”
