Here’s a sample of what the teams said after the game.

Coach Gregg Popovich:

“We kept a good pace at the start of the game. Neither team could really make a shot. We got it together as far as getting some buckets to go down. Just thought they were pretty solid at both ends of the floor tonight and had good performances by a good number of people. We had over 30 assists again and that’s always a great sign that we’re moving well and finding open people. They look like they’re beginning to understand how to play with each other.”

McDermott:

“It (shooting) felt good. Once that first one goes in you just feel like you’re not going to miss. That’s kind of how it felt tonight. They (teammates) just did a really good job at finding me. I wish I could’ve been a part of more of the third and fourth quarter but it’s all good.”

Wembanyama:

“Sharing the ball. Doing the right decisions, especially coming back from halftime. I’m not playing tomorrow. I wish I did. We’re on a winning streak right now. I have been trying to be locked in on every play. Every time I step on the court I keep my goals in mind.”
