Spurs cast their presidential votes; Check out ‘The Age of Wembanyama’ animated short

“It’s a responsibility,” head coach Gregg Popovich about voting.

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs and staff recently took time out to cast their votes in the upcoming presidential election.

Zach Collins, Tre Jones, Stephon Castle, and the rest of the team visited the campus of UTSA to make their votes count.

“It’s a responsibility,” head coach Gregg Popovich said. “It’s a right that they all have, and it’s their way of trying to decide what our country is going to be, what it stands for, who is going to represent them, what kind of laws we’re going to have.”

Ensure you follow the Spurs’ lead and go to the voting booths this November.

THE AGE OF WEMBANYAMA IS NEAR

Bleacher Report recently released an animated short, Hero x Ball, featuring Victor Wembanyama as an impending doom for the rest of the NBA.

Joining Wemby in the cartoon is Spurs’ Chris Paul, who guides Joel Embiid, Luka Doncic, and Anthony Edwards to help them avoid seeing their championship window close before the Spurs center takes over the NBA.

Check out a monstrous Wemby surrounded by future Defensive Player of the Year statues, him battling Embiid, Doncic, and Edwards, and wait for the ending as Paul winds up teaming with the Spurs, along with special appearances from coach Popovich!
