SAN ANTONIO — The NBA announced San Antonio Spurs guard De’Aaron Fox has been named to the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup All-Tournament Team.

Fox led the Spurs to the NBA Cup Championship game in Las Vegas, posted a 5-2 record in tournament play, and led the team in scoring, assists and steals, averaging 22.3 points, 7.7 assists and 2.0 steals per game. He also contributed with 3.2 rebounds while shooting 39.5% from the three-point line, as well as 84% from the free-throw line.

In games where the Spurs were missing Victor Wembanyama and Stephon Castle due to injury, Fox led the Spurs to back-to-back road wins in Portland and Denver to earn a 3-1 record to win West Group C and advance to the knockout round of the NBA Cup.

He scored an NBA Cup-high 37 points versus the Trail Blazers, and 20 points in a win in Los Angeles against the Lakers to advance to Las Vegas, then 22 points in a win over the Thunder to reach the Cup finals against the Knicks.

“We always go into every game no matter who we’re playing against, best in the league, worst team in the league, whatever it may be,” Fox said after the Cup win versus the Thunder. “And we worry about ourselves first because we know that if we go out there and we execute to the point that we know we execute, that we give ourselves a chance to win regardless of who we’re playing against. And I think we showed it tonight.”

Also named to the 2025 NBA Cup All-Tournament team are Jalen Brunson (New York), Luka Dončić (Dallas), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Oklahoma City), and Karl-Anthony Towns (New York).
