Nike’s new ad for the Freak 7 sneakers shows Giannis Antetokounmpo and rookie Dylan Harper on the court.
SAN ANTONIO — Nike released a new commercial for the new Giannis Antetokounmpo Freak 7 sneakers featuring the Bucks All-Star hooping against young basketball players.
However, as the ad progresses, San Antonio Spurs rookie Dylan Harper (and Utah rookie Ace Bailey) enter the court wearing the new kicks and begin to hoop with Giannis watching on the sidelines.
In case you didn’t know, Harper is with Nike and debuted a new Nike GT Cut PE (personal edition) featuring his new signature logo during Summer League play.
And in case you didn’t know, the rookie guard had already signed with Nike before entering the NBA, while at Rutgers, on a NIL deal.
CARTER BRYANT WORKING WITH THE GUARD WHISPERER
Spurs rookie Carter Bryant is maximizing his offseason by working with the famed Olin Simplis, aka “The Guard Whisterer.”
Simplis recently shared a video of Bryant working in his camp, showcasing a great move to the basket for a score.
Bryant isn’t the only Spur to join Simplis this summer.
Stephon Castle visited “The Guard Whisperer,” and videos show him working on his shot. In the footage, the Rookie of the Year is learning to make his midrange shots while a defender is on him, drives to the post, and takes bumps while shooting the ball. He is also working on his three-point shot.
