SAN ANTONIO — The Spurs will be without their rookie 2025 No. 2 overall pick for the next few weeks, according to NBA insider Shams Charania.
Spurs’ guard Dylan Harper suffered a left calf strain against the Suns Sunday. He is now expected to miss several weeks, according to sources.
An MRI on Monday revealed that Harper did avoid a significant absence.
In six games, Harper has averaged 14 points, four rebounds and 3.8 assists in 23 minutes a game. He was shooting 50% from the field and 36% from three-point range. His best game came against the Nets where he recorded 20 points, six rebounds and eight assists.
The Spurs are also without De’Aaron Fox, as his return date remains unclear.
