SAN ANTONIO β San Antonio Spurs‘ Victor Wembanyama is the centerpiece of the franchise’s rebuild and is likely untradeable in nearly any scenario.
But don’t tell that to oddsmaker BetUS NBA.
The oddsmaker recently posted a mock deal involving Wemby and the Lakers that saw the Spurs center go to Los Angeles for four Lakers players and a first-round NBA Draft pick.
The Silver and Black faithful were quick to scoff at this proposed deal and relentlessly dogpiled the oddsmakers for even suggesting this.

The notion of trading Wemby is unimaginable. Any proposed deal would have to be such a lopsided offer in favor of the Spurs that it would not be enough for the team to deal away the All-Star center.
SPURS + OPENAI
The Spurs have partnered with OpenAI and are already reaping its benefits to make the franchise operate successfully.
According to the Spurs, the franchise has achieved 85% AI fluency across teams, saving over 1,800 hours monthly and unlocking innovations across operations, partnerships, community outreach, and fan engagement.
In addition, the team announced its approach to OpenAI in four progressive phases: empowering the workforce, establishing high-impact use cases, automating operations, and infusing AI into products and offerings.
