SAN ANTONIO — An opposing player can rarely dunk on San Antonio Spurs‘ Victor Wembanyama, but it happened for Hawks’ De’Andre Hunter.
The Atlanta big man squeaked by the long arm of Wemby and connected on a dunk that had the Spurs center falling to the floor.
To add insult to posterization, Hunter proceeded to step over Wemby and taunt him.
Hunter would ultimately get a technical foul, and the Spurs would win the game (133-126), but that has not stopped the Hawks X account from reliving that moment days after the final buzzer sounded.
Yes, you read that right. Atlanta is still pushing their player’s dunk on the French big man.
Needless to say, Spurs fans were not too thrilled with the Hawks’ social media account for reliving that moment and proceeded to roast it.

It may have been a highlight dunk—and yes, it happens to all NBA players—but Wemby made Atlanta’s night miserable.
He finished with 42 points, six rebounds, five assists, and four blocks, while Hunter finished with 27 points, zero blocks, one assist, and six rebounds.
