SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs, in partnership with San Antonio Food Bank and H-E-B, hosted families for a special holiday dinner at the Frost Bank Center.
Those in attendance got a special treat: Spurs players, staff volunteers and Coyote served the families dinner, followed by photos and free-throw shots on the court. Each family also went home with a full Thanksgiving meal kit provided by H-E-B.
CHRIS PAUL’S SNACK LINE AVAILABLE AT H-E-B
There are new tortilla chips and more snacks in San Antonio, which come from Spurs guard Chris Paul.
In case you didn’t know, Paul co-founded “Good Eat’n'” plant-based snacks, including tortilla chips.
The snack line includes a selection of chips, popcorn, puffs, and rinds. It is also currently available at the local grocer, H-E-B.
“As someone with a plant-based diet who loves flavorful foods, I know first-hand that it can be difficult to find delicious and approachable plant-based alternatives to your favorite snacks,” said Chris Paul in a release. “I’m thrilled to announce this new brand with Gopuff that makes plant-based snacks easily available with flavors that appeal to the masses.”
Good Eat’n flavors include Hot Hot Puffs, Cinnamon Sugar Mini Donut Puffs, Nacho Cheeze Tortilla Chips, Big Dill Ranch Tortilla Chips, Cookies N Creme Popcorn, Carolina Style BBQ Popcorn and Classic BBQ Porkless Rinds.
“As someone with a plant-based diet and a lover of snacks, I know how difficult it can be to find delicious and healthy alternatives to your favorite foods,” said Paul in a release. “I’m excited to expand the Good Eat’n snack line and make it accessible in the Healthy Living section of H-E-B stores throughout Texas.”
Also, keep your eyes peeled at Spurs home games. There is likely a kiosk handing out free samples of Paul’s snacks.
