
Pen to paper! The Spurs have signed rookies Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs today announced the team has signed rookies Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant. Per team policy, the terms of the contracts were not announced.
Harper was selected with the second overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Before the NBA, he averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists in his lone season at Rutgers University and set a program freshman scoring record with 564 points, shooting 48.7% from the field. He reached double figures in 24-of-29 games, including 20 games with 20-plus points on his way to Big Ten All-Freshman honors and All-Big Ten Third Team.
He will likely make his Summer League debut at the Vegas Summer League due to a groin injury. He will not play at the California Classic Summer League.
Bryant was selected with the 14th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Before joining the NBA, he played one season at the University of Arizona, averaging 6.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 0.9 steals while shooting 46.0% from the floor and 37.1% from three-point range in 37 games for the Wildcats.
He was also named a McDonald’s All-American after averaging 17.0 points and 9.0 rebounds as a senior at Corona Centennial High School.
He is expected to play in both the California Classic and Vegas Summer Leagues.
