
The Lunazul Bar will open in time for Open Scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 4 at the Frost Bank Center.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs announced a new partnership with Lunazul Tequila.
As part of this new partnership, it will include a newly branded bar in Frost Bank Center opening this week, a commemorative keepsake bottle and Lunazul coming on to present multiple Spurs Fiesta activations this spring.
In additon, Lunazul will contribute to additional ongoing impact efforts supporting Spurs Give.
“What really stood out to us about Lunazul is their longstanding, multi-generational presence in the tequila space and their purposeful commitment to sustainable practices in Mexico, a core region of our fanbase,” said Frank Miceli, Chief Commercial Officer at Spurs Sports & Entertainment in a release. “Lunazul’s 250-year history shows an unshakeable commitment to their craft, and a true desire to deliver the very best product to their customers without taking shortcuts, an attitude that we at the Spurs seek to live by every day.”
And just tine time for the new season, Lunazul intends to offer a limited number of free drinks at the Spurs Home Opener, on Sunday, Oct. 26. A Lunazul representative will be in attendance and intends to purchase Lunazul cocktails for the first 50 fans who visit their Frost Club Level bar at the Home Opener game. This offer is limited to one drink per person, 21+ years of age, and can only be redeemed at the new Lunazul bar which requires a Club Level game ticket.
For collectors, there will be limited-edition Spurs-Lunazul co-branded keepsake bottles available for purchase at select local retailers beginning Nov. 1. Additionally, Lunazul representatives will be out at select local restaurants and bars all season long providing free co-branded swag to fans during Spurs games.
