Spurs playing on KENS 5 for 9 games in 2025-26 season; Here’s the full local TV schedule

KENS 5, the official TV station of the San Antonio Spurs, will broadcast the Silver & Black’s two Austin games and other key matchups.

SAN ANTONIO — KENS 5, the official television station of the San Antonio Spurs, announced Friday that it will broadcast nine Spurs games during the 2025-26 NBA season.

KENS 5 will tip off its game broadcast coverage with the Spurs’ second game of the regular season, when they’ll visit the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, Oct. 24, with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m.

“KENS 5 is proud to be the longstanding, official television partner of the Spurs,” said Tom Cury, KENS 5 president and general manager. “We’re thrilled to deliver Spurs basketball and exceptional coverage of our local NBA team to fans throughout San Antonio for another exciting season.”

Other key matchups airing on KENS 5 include the Spurs’ annual I-35 Series games in Austin. The Silver & Black will face the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m. The second game will be against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m.

KENS 5 sports anchor Nate Ryan will join the broadcast team for coverage of select games on KENS 5 this season.

The Spurs’ partnership with TEGNA, owner of KENS 5, also extends to two other Texas markets. KVUE in Austin and KIII in Corpus Christi will each air five games for free (indicated with an asterisk in the schedule below), making Spurs basketball more widely accessible than ever before.
