The new Spurs City Edition jerseys continue to pay homage to the Alamo City’s roots.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Spurs unveiled their 2024-25 Nike NBA City Edition uniforms, paying tribute to the next chapter of the ‘70s and the cultural transformations of this time period in San Antonio and globally.
Spurs fans can now purchase the fresh new-look jerseys at the Spurs Fan Shop in the Frost Bank Center, the Official Spurs Fan Shop presented by Victory Capital at The Rock at La Cantera, and on SpursFanShop.com.
Like last season’s City Edition jerseys, the HemisFair origin storyline focuses on San Antonio’s decades-long growth and transformation tipped off by the 1968 World’s Fair, featuring design details inspired by this early ‘70s era.
Victor Wembanyama also did his part to celebrate the new jerseys with a commercial that is sure to make all Spurs fans shed a tear and be proud to call themselves fans.
“This jersey isn’t mine, it’s yours, but is it cool if I borrow it for a while,” Wembanyama says in the commercial.
The jersey features the San Antonio wordmark across the chest against a crystal blue base popularized by men’s leisure suits of the era. A checkered pattern down each side of the shorts draws the eye to the Tower of Americas logo, a retro emblem that pays tribute to the sky-high icon of the city’s iconic downtown.

The Spurs City Edition court will debut versus the Lakers on Friday night. It is bordered with a pop of succulent green around the perimeter and color blocking of the saffron orange and rich chocolate brown within the key, the Hemisfair logo remains center court around which all the game action will revolve. The phrase “Viva Spurs” emblazoned on the court and above the jock tag on each jersey will continue this year, reiterating the timeless mantra forever tied to the team. The Spurs will sport their Nike NBA City Edition uniforms for the first time in their Thursday, Nov. 21, contest against the Utah Jazz at Frost Bank Center, where the Spurs City Edition court will also make its return.
SPURS-HAWKS SCHEDULE CHANGE

The NBA has announced a schedule change for the Spurs game against the Hawk at the Frost Bank Center.
TNT will no longer televise the Atlanta at San Antonio game. The game time has been changed to 8:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM local.
This will be an exciting game for both the Spurs and Hawks. San Antonio owns Atlanta’s 2025 NBA Draft picks via the Dejounte Murray deal, which are unprotected. The more Atlanta loses, the better the odds are for the Spurs that the Hawks’ picks will be higher in the NBA Draft.
It will behoove the Spurs to beat the Hawks that night.
