Carter Bryant joins Dylan Harper as the two newest Spurs heading to San Antonio Wednesday night.
SAN ANTONIO — After selecting Rutgers guard Dylan Harper earlier in the draft, the Spurs have selected Carter Bryant with the No. 14 overall pick of the 2025 NBA Draft.
Bryant averaged 6.5 points and 4.1 rebounds in 37 games at Arizona last season.
Standing at 6’7″, 19-year-old Bryant is a “bouncy, athletic 3-and-D player with upside for further offensive growth,” according to NBA.com.
“He’s an especially strong shot-blocker for a wing player and has high upside as an overall defensive playmaker, though he’s been prone to some fouling,” his draft overview goes on to say.
“The one thing about Carter is he checks two boxes that are really hard to check,” Arizona head coach Tommy Lloyd said. “He’s an elite talent and he has elite character.”
