Spurs’ Sochan cuts off his green Grinch-inspired hair; SAPD Chief gives him a shout-out

With Christmas over, the Spurs forward says goodbye to his green locks.

SAN ANTONIO — Say it ain’t so, Jeremy!

For San Antonio Spurs fans, Jeremy Sochan did the unthinkable when she posted on social media that he had cut off his lime green hair.

That’s right! With Christmas over, the popular Sochan hair color is no longer, and he shared a photo officially saying goodbye to it.

“Christmas is over,” he posted.

The green hair was a huge fan favorite, and some Spurs faithful showed up to the game wearing green wigs to show their love for the color.

It even made it into the “Dunk The Halls” Spurs-Knicks Christmas Day animated game.

However, the end of one color opens the door for another.

Sochan will likely dye his hair something wild in the coming days and will win over fans.

SAPD CHIEF SHOUTS OUT SOCHAN

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus appreciated Sochan and gave a nice shoutout on social media.

According to McManus, his daughter spotted Sochan at a coffee spot as he walked in. She was nervous about asking him for a photo, but when she did, the Spurs forward graciously said yes and snapped a picture.

“My daughter was out getting coffee and who walked in but SPURS star Jeremy Sochan. She hesitantly asked him for a picture not knowing what he would say: his  response:  “Yes of course!”  My daughter was thrilled!!  Thank you Mr. Sochan for being so approachable. You made her day!”

This is just more proof that the Spurs are all about the fans!
