SAN ANTONIO — It’s playoff season in San Antonio, and Spurs fans can snag a limited-edition cap by donating blood.
South Texas Blood & Tissue announced they are hosting Spurs Thursdays at all San Antonio donor centers throughout the month of April, where every blood donor will receive a limited-edition Spurs Fiesta playoff cap.
Donors must use the promo code “CAP” when scheduling an appointment. Once you schedule your appointment online or by phone, remember to bring a photo ID, complete a brief questionnaire and donate.
Caps will be offered April 23 and 30.
South Texas Blood & Tissue officials said all blood types are critical but type-O blood donors, whom make up 40% of the population, are vitally important to serving the San Antonio community.
