SAN ANTONIO — A few days after trading for former All-Star De’Aaron Fox, the Spurs have made another deal, albeit not as high profile.
With the trade deadline Thursday, San Antonio have traded for former first round pick Patrick Baldwin Jr. from the Milwaukee Bucks, according to ESPN Insider Shams Charania. They are also received cash in the deal. It’s currently unclear what they gave up.
Baldwin Jr. was drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2022 with the 28th overall pick. Wednesday morning, he was traded from the Wizards to the Bucks in the Kyle Kuzma-Khris Middleton trade. Now, a little more than a day later, he’s heading to San Antonio.
Baldwin has appeared in 22 games this year for the Wizards, averaging 2.1 points in 4.6 minutes per game.
