
Victor Wembanyama visits China and connects with fans.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs‘ Victor Wembanyama is exploring the globe this offseason and recently made a pit stop in China.
Wemby visited Beijing and had the opportunity to enjoy the local food, visit the Great Wall, mingle with fans, and more.
Wemby has been taking the opportunity to explore a few places. He returned to Costa Rica, where he played soccer with kids, and has been spotted in San Antonio.
He’s in China to support Team France at the 2025 Women’s Volleyball League.
BLAKE WESLEY SURPRISES SPURS MATH HOOPS CHAMPION
Spurs guard Blake Wesley surprised Spurs Math Champion, Zayden Neyland, as he prepares to represent San Antonio at the Math Hoops Global Championship in New York City.
“I like being here (San Antonio). I like giving back,” Wesley said. “It’s a lot of love in the city.”
Said Wesley: “It makes me happy to give back because I am very fortunate for what we got. For me to give back is a blessing.”
As the flagship event of the NBA Math Hoops program, the Global Championship brings together students from across the United States and around the world for three days of competition, learning, and community engagement.
The 2025 Global Championship will feature student teams from across the United States and around the world, including students from Australia, representing 16 NBA and WNBA markets.
