Spurs workout Houston guard L.J. Cryer; Danny Green, Keldon Johnson hosting basketball camps in McAllen, TX

The San Antonio Spurs work out draft prospect L.J. Cryer from Houston.

SAN ANTONIO — With the NBA 2025 Draft in just a few months, the San Antonio Spurs have begun working out prospects.

According to a report, San Antonio worked out Houston guard  L.J. Cryer.

Cryer is listed as 6-1, 185 lbs., and from Katy, TX.

Last season with Houston, he posted 15.7 points per game, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. He shot 42% from the 3-point line and 41% from the field. He also spent time with Baylor for his freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons. He also landed on the Wooden Award All-America Team last season.

DANNY GREEN, KELDON JOHNSON SET TO HOST BASKETBALL CAMPS IN MCALLEN, TX

Former Spurs swingman Danny Green and current forward Keldon Johnson will host basketball camps in McAllen, TX.

Green’s camp will be on June 1 for young athletes in grades 1-12 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the location to be determined. Interested campers can sign up now.

Johnson’s camp will be on May 25 for young athletes in grades 1-12 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the location to be determined. Interested campers can sign up now.

Keldon also hosts a basketball camp in Laredo, TX, this summer.
