St. Andrew’s Church to host music festival this weekend in Lytle

Proceeds from the festival will also go toward the construction of a St. Andrew’s Event Center, which church leaders say will benefit the Lytle community.

LYTLE, Texas — This weekend, the music spotlight will be on the City of Lytle.

St. Andrew’s Church will host a 2-day music festival on September 27-28.

Saturday will feature county music artists, with John Wolfe as the headlining act. Then on Sunday, Spanish music will take center stage with the headlining act, Tropa Estrella among many others including Stefani Montiel.

“It is not only just a fundraiser for the church but also it is uniting the community together, bringing people together because music is relaxing. Music is healing and you forget everything and you just dance,” said Father Varghese Antony.

The event will also feature a variety of food, drinks and alcohol. There will also be a raffle with top prizes that includes thousands of dollars and a homemade BBQ pit.

Proceeds from the festival will also go toward the construction of a St. Andrew’s Event Center, which church leaders say will benefit the Lytle community.

The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
