‘Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive’ celebrates 33rd anniversary Saturday

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) Alamo Branch 421 hopes to collect 500,000 pounds of food on Saturday, May 10.

SAN ANTONIO — Your chance to help stamp out hunger in San Antonio is this weekend!

The San Antonio Food Bank is proud to partner with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) for Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive, one of the largest single-day food drives in the country.

Letter Carriers, with the support of CPS Energy, will deliver plastic bags to 600,000 households in San Antonio and surrounding areas. Folks can then fill the bags with non-perishable food and put it out by their mailbox on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

Your mailman will pick up your food donations when they deliver mail along their routes.

Food will then be distributed to families in our community. Donate and help your local Letter Carriers fight hunger and feed individuals and families in our community.

You can also make a donation online. Every $1 equals 10 pound of food.

Donations can be made at: https://safoodbank.org/stamp-out-hunger/.
