
Police were at the home trying to serve a warrant.
SAN ANTONIO — Police officers attempting to serve a warrant Tuesday night ended up in a standoff with the suspect, who refused to come out of his home on the west side.
It all began around 11 p.m. in the 5800 block of Les Harrison Drive near Culebra Road, with SAPD trying to serve a warrant.
The man refused to come out of his home. SWAT was called in for backup.
They tried breaking down the doors and even ran into the home multiple times before eventually firing off a few rounds of tear gas.
That is when the man came out of his home and surrendered to police.
No word on what the charges are at tis time.
