BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — WEATHER IMPACT DAYS: Sunday through Tuesday, March 8-10

Reason: Chances for rain over the next several days as well as storms, some of which could be strong.

The breakdown

Cooler weather from Saturday has stuck around, limiting the potential for severe storms on Sunday. Some pockets of heavy rainfall are cropping up, but most in the San Antonio region may find themselves waking up to no more than light showers and cloudy skies.

A Flood Advisory is in effect for south Bexar County and western Guadalupe County until 10:15 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. In those regions, some areas have received up to two inches of rain.

The main impact to note is still large hail. But for the most part, it will be a cool and cloudy Sunday, with on-and-off light rain.

Medium to high rain chances linger throughout the start of the work week.

Our next big event will be on Tuesday, with another possible system providing the chance of severe weather.

Looking ahead

There are even more chances for rain Tuesday heading into Wednesday of next week.
