Student injured in cutting incident at LEE High School, officials say

San Antonio Police responded to a call at about 3:30 p.m. Monday for a cutting at the high school, located at 1400 Jackson Keller Road.

SAN ANTONIO — A student was injured at LEE High School on Monday afternoon. 

San Antonio Police responded to a call at about 3:30 p.m. Monday for a cutting at the high school, located at 1400 Jackson Keller Road. 

North East ISD officials confirmed a student was injured but is alert and was transported to a local hospital. 

According to school officials the student said he got into a disagreement with his friend and his friend cut him on his side. 

District officials initially put the school on a “hold” following the incident and dismissal was delayed. 

NEISD officials confirm the friend is also a LEE student. 

School officials are working to locate the friend but a description was not provided. 

SAPD and NEPD do not believe there is a threat to the school, district officials say.
