Sugar Land Space Cowboys unveil Triple-A championship ring covered with symbolism

The Triple-A team took the 2024 national championship. They were celebrating this weekend.

SUGAR LAND, Texas — The Sugar Land Space Cowboys were celebrating their 2024 Triple-A National Championship at the home series this weekend. Part of the celebration was unveiling the ring that will be given to players for the championship, after 93 wins on the season.

The highly detailed ring features symbols of the Space Cowboys’ 2024 success:

  • 26 baguette stones for the 26 quality starts by Space Cowboys starters
  • 50 stones behind the Space Cowboys logo and a band around it for the 50 saves recorded by the bullpen
  • Four of the ‘Mission Patch’ logos, signifying the four years as a Houston Astros affiliate

  • Two orange baguette stones are placed on either side in recognition of the two championships, and the two home runs hit by the Space Cowboys in the championship game
  • 16 aqua stones frame the orange baguettes for the 16 series wins

  • Ten aqua stones on one side represents 10 strikeouts in the championship game, and 10 aqua stones on the other side are for 10 walk-off victories in the season
  • 93 white stones around the ring for the 93 wins in 2024

The ring also features the team’s 2024 motto, “Set the Course,” the Astros logo, the State of Texas, the score of the championships and the player’s name and number.

Fans can collect a replica at one of three giveaways: April 12, April 30 and May 3. There will be 2,000 replica rings given away at each game.

The Space Cowboys play at Constellation Field near State Highway 6, just north of Alt Highway 90.

The Space Cowboys are 5-7 on the 2025 season.
