SAN ANTONIO — The suspect accused of hitting an off-duty Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputy working as a crossing guard with his car has been taken into custody.
Adrian Arellano, 27, was arrested after police set up a perimeter outside an apartment complex on San Pedro Avenue at Thames Drive, just south of North Star Mall, around 3:30 a.m. Monday.
It has been a week since Suzanne Simpson, the Olmos Park Mother of four, went missing. On Sunday night, family and friends gathered for a prayer vigil in San Antonio.
Suzanne’s mother, Barbara Clark spoke about her daughter and her son-in-law, Brad Simpson. Brad is currently in the Bexar County jail, accused of assaulting Suzanne before she went missing.
