Suspect accused of killing teen girl at Bexar County house party found dead, officials say

According to SAPD, Suggs was found dead inside a vehicle following a reported shooting early Saturday morning.

SAN ANTONIO — An 18-year-old suspect accused in the killing of a teenage girl at a house party in southwest Bexar County is now dead, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies had previously identified Deshawn Suggs, 18, as the suspect in the death of 17-year-old Alianna Ujueta, who was shot and then run over during a gathering in the 13000 block of Luckey Road on Sept. 28, 2025.

The sheriff’s office confirmed Sunday evening in a social media post that Suggs is no longer wanted and has been confirmed deceased.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, Suggs was found dead inside a vehicle following a reported shooting early Saturday morning on the city’s west side. Officers were dispatched around 4:13 a.m. to the 10000 block of Tiger Field after receiving multiple calls reporting shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found Suggs inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Investigators observed multiple bullet holes in the vehicle and in a nearby residence. Police said it is not yet known what led up to the shooting, and no suspect information was immediately available. The investigation remains active.

During the investigation into the house party shooting, Suggs had not been located, prompting authorities to issue a Crime Stoppers reward for information that could lead to his identification and whereabouts.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the 13900 block of Luckey Road early the morning of Sept. 28 after receiving reports of a shooting in progress. Investigators said a fight broke out at a house party and spilled into the street, where gunshots were fired.

A witness reported seeing a girl, later identified as Ujueta, lying motionless in the roadway before she was run over by a fleeing vehicle described as a black pickup truck.

First responders found Ujueta with a gunshot wound to the head, officials said at the time. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office later ruled her death a homicide.
