SAN ANTONIO — Four people were injured after an alleged stabbing early Sunday on the city’s inner-north side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
SAPD said officers were dispatched around 12:13 a.m. to a reported cutting-in-progress in the 5200 block of Blanco Road.
During the investigation, officers learned a 37-year-old man stabbed a 31-year-old man after an altercation involving the suspect dancing with someone at the location, police said.
According to SAPD, the suspect then threw a 53-year-old woman to the ground and began choking her. As the suspect was assaulting the woman, police said a 31-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman attempted to intervene.
The suspect then cut both individuals with a knife, causing non-life-threatening lacerations, police said.

Police said the suspect fled on foot before officers arrived but was later apprehended. No additional suspect information has been released.
