Suspect attempting to break into apartments shot and killed after pulling a gun on Dallas police, sources say

Sources tell WFAA that the suspect pulled a gun out when given commands from police.

DALLAS — Officers with the Dallas Police Department shot and killed a suspect Saturday night after he allegedly pulled a gun out on them, sources told WFAA.

According to one source, an intoxicated man was attempting to break into apartments in the 3100 block of Norwalk Avenue when Dallas police were called to the scene. 

Sources told WFAA that police gave the suspect commands to try and get him in custody, but he pulled out a gun and was subsequently shot and killed.
