Suspect flees on foot after car crash near northwest-side home, BCSO says

Deputies initiated a traffic stop around 2 p.m. on a car that was reported stolen.

SAN ANTONIO — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect who crashed a car while fleeing from deputies following a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon, according to officials. 

BCSO deputies initiated a traffic stop around 2 p.m. on a car that was reported stolen. 

Officials say the driver fled from deputies and eventually crashed into a fence near a far northwest-side home on the 11100 block of Ranger Cavern. 

According to BCSO, the driver exited the vehicle, jumped a fence and fled the area on foot. 

BCSO did not provide any other details.
