The suspect did not stop and render aid, according to police. The man that was hit is currently in stable condition.
SAN ANTONIO — A 70-year-old man is in stable condition after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street Saturday night, according to police.
At about 8:30 a.m., the man was crossing the intersection of South Zarzamora Street and West Cesar Chavez Boulevard using a crosswalk. Police say an unknown vehicle traveling north on South Zarzamora Street hit the man, failing to stop and render aid and fleeing the location.
The man was taken to the hospital and at last check was in stable condition.
When found, the suspect driving the vehicle will be charged with collision involving injury.
