
Police said an unknown suspect drove a west-side home and opened fire, striking a man multiple times and grazing a woman in the neck.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is fighting for his life and a woman is recovering after a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning on the city’s west side, according to San Antonio police.
Authorities said the shooting happened around 3:15 a.m. in the 7100 block of Shady Grove Drive. Upon arrival, officers found two victims at the scene.
Police said the man had been shot multiple times. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. A woman was also grazed by a bullet near her neck. At last check, police said she is in stable condition.
Based on the preliminary investigation, it appears an unknown suspect drove by the home and opened fire, SAPD said.
No suspect description was immediately available and police said the investigation is still ongoing.
