SAN ANTONIO — Take a chance on the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio’s performance of classic ABBA favorites coming to the Tobin Center.
YOSA will perform ABBA’s greatest hits featuring San Antonio’s top vocalists and a fresh orchestral twist. The young musicians will tackle favorites like “Dancing Queen,” “Take a Chance on Me,” “Super Trooper,” Waterloo,” in the performance taking place March 15.
The Swedish super group has been breaking records with their chart-topping hits for decades and is one of the most successful pop bands of all time. Many of ABBA’s songs have been memorialized on Broadway in the hit musical, Mamma Mia.
This performance is part of YOSA’s Classic Album Live Series which seeks to reinvent and pay homage to classic rock and pop songs. The group has previously honored Prince, Queen, the Beatles, Selena, and Tejano legend Emilio.
