Police believe he is one of two people involved in 22-year-old Khadija Derry’s murder.
The victim, Khadija Derry, was killed outside her Converse home in 2023.
Police say she was sitting in her car when two gunmen opened fire, unloading around 20 shots.
That 17-year-old was only 16 at the time of Derry’s murder, which is why we are not identifying him.

Authorities say on December 6, 2023, two people fired at least “two high-caliber, semi-automatic rifles” at Derry and killed her just outside her Converse home.
Officials say one of the two suspects was killed in April of 2024.
It was in early May this juvenile was found and arrested at the 5000 block of Eunice Drive in far east San Antonio.
When he appeared in court the first time, both his and the victim’s family were there and he got a stern warning from the judge.
The suspect is expected to appear before a judge again Tuesday.
