According to the Schertz Police Department, officers discovered two teens suffering from gunshot wounds off Red Bud Way on March 4. Both victims were transported to a hospital, with one sustaining life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have not released a motive in the shooting but say 17-year-old Gabriel Alvarado is accused of being the gunman.
Alvarado is also facing charges in Bexar County related to an armed robbery reported last summer. He is currently being held at the Guadalupe County Jail.
