TEMPLE, Texas — A Temple resident became a millionaire after winning the top $1 million prize of a Texas Lottery scratch ticket.
The resident, who chose to stay anonymous, bought the winning “VIP Millions” ticket from EZ Stop at 401 E. Adams Ave.
It was the first of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the “VIP Millions” game, which offers more than $115 million in total prizes.
