Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced a new email tip line for reporting suspected election law violations and released updated guidance on election integrity.
AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched a new email tip line for the public to report suspected violations of Texas election law, along with issuing a legal advisory focused on election integrity.
Paxton said his office will investigate any reports of voter fraud and work to protect what he called the integrity of Texas elections.
In the advisory, Paxton pointed to concerns about population growth and what he described as partisan efforts to misuse voter registration and the voting process.
“Under my watch, there will be no stolen elections in Texas,” Paxton said in a statement. “I invite all Texans to report suspected violations at our tipline.”

The advisory also reminds Texans that only U.S. citizens who are Texas residents are eligible to vote, and violations of the Texas Election Code can carry serious penalties, including fines and jail time.
Paxton emphasized that vote harvesting is illegal and that voters have the right to cast their ballots independently and privately.
The guidance is intended for citizens and government entities seeking clarification on election laws and requirements ahead of upcoming elections.
